Sugar High

For the last week, I’ve been chalashing to whip up a batch of Cupcake 24’s from Ming’s List which look mouth-wateringly good (if Baileys is involved, it can really only be good), but with optimistic hopes of kissing my sugar addiction goodbye, as of tonight I’m taking a break from baking sweets, and turning to breads – pumpkin, banana, zucchini et al. for the crunch, and to seasonal fruit shakes, wholegrain everything, almond butter, quinoa, lentils, salads & other wholesome foods as back-up in the comedown from my sugar high.  

So long for now, glucose!
